That's a solid 4-4-2 Tom, liking that ππ I'm not too sold on Islamovic & Holm just yet compared to others, but both in that nice 8.0 price point with other options around to jump on.
I'm struggling at the moment with GK & FWDs, the blanks in GW2 is a pain!
I would love to have a triple GW in Eliteserien again!
I remember the 2020 season when ODD had so many games called off for COVID that they had a TGW towards the end of the season π That co-incided with KBK having a DGW (they had Pellegrino back then), sure Glimt doubled too. Huge points!
This poor form just keeps getting more worrying, ready to write the season off π
4 changes for Bristol City at Leicester tonight. If Struber is selecting Bird, Knight, Morsy in Midfield, does that mean he's experimenting a McCrorie/Tanner/Eile/Borges back 4 π€π€π€
Even on the back of 2 average #ESFantasy seasons outside the top 1k, I'm delighted (and somewhat surprised) at where my HoF ranking is. Down from 97 to 162, that's not bad at all π Aim for this season is to finish back in the top 1k and push towards the top 100 HoF again π§π»
Out of all the teams Glimt drew in the Cup, it's typical that it's ended up being LSK π I was fine with Glimt blanking in GW1-GW2, that was a given with Cup and CL commitments, just annoying that LSK (who we want to treble up on in DGW4) has made the GW1 draft more problematic π¬
From the Norges Fotballforbund website, confirmation that LSK v KBK and Glimt v HamKam in GW2 is postponed.
That's me finally jumping off HΓΈgh, not sure what to do with the LSK triple up. Maybe keeping one for now then use FTs to bring more in for DGW4 π€

The Hill auto-sub was one bit of luck, though there were some unlucky moments like Rodon's goal being chalked off then conceding minutes after and Rogers had an assist ruled out. It's been a struggle lately and limping towards WC 32, just not getting the big hauls and rank jumps others are getting
I've given it a few days for the dust to settle on #FPL GW29, that was a tough one to take π Another week where (bar Bruno), the MIDs & FWDs dissapointed and nothing that can be done when other Managers enjoyed hauls from JoΓ£o Pedro, Everton assets or even getting Anderson off the bench.
Now that might complicate things if there is a blank GW2, especially with an LSK treble up π¬

So, Tommy Conway in #FPL next season π€
Other possible ex Bristol City names off the top of my head:
Jay Dasilva - Coventry
Luke Ayling - Middlesbrough
Anis Mehmeti - Ipswich
Wes Burns - Ipswich
Joe Bryan - Millwall
Zak Vyner - Wrexham
For a team rooted at the bottom of League 1, huge well done and big respect to Port Vale in the FA Cup this week π Deservedly knocked Bristol City out after extra time on Tuesday, they've eclipsed that by beating Sunderland to reach the QF. Great week for Ben Waine, scored the winner in both games π
I did catch something on the Discord that Soltvedt has picked up an injury that will keep him out for a couple of weeks. Need a re-think on the Brann DEF, Thorsteinsson has caught my eye if he keeps pens
Currently 2-1 Brann, Γorsteinsson (Thorsteinsson, 8.0 MID) scored from the penalty spot π FHM with the other goal
Brann v Tromsdalen in the Cup right now:
No Soltvedt at all in the Brann team, not on the bench either.
I've been flip-flopping between Soltvedt and De Roeve in recent drafts, don't know just to be safe and go with De Roeve GW1 π€
Offensive assets also on the radar this game #ESFantasy π§π»
That's encouraging about HjertΓΈ-Dahl π He's been in all my drafts and understand he could be on pens? As with #FPL, I'm a sucker for a 7.5 price point π I have SΓΈrensen too, could be Breivik or Eriksen from GW3
Even with the loss, I think Cornic & Warneryd are pretty much locks with the DGWs in mind and if you're looking to use "Park The Bus" in one of them. Even without clean sheets, they both have the attacking upside to return well. I'm still undecided on KFUM and if Jenssen is a viable 4.0 GK option π€
HamKam v LSK in the Norwegian Cup:
Thomas Lehne Olsen came off the LSK bench to score in injury time in a 2-0 win, Felix VΓ‘ with the other (Eric Kitolano assist)
I'm hoping that goal gives TLO the GW1 start, though know given his age that mins will be reduced and can get rotated

But now I also worry about Struber and if he's starting to lose that desire in the job amongst all that's happening on the field and behind the scenes? That passion and hunger he had at the start of the season has just faded away and he just cuts a frustrated figure. It's not looking good right now
I do agree that the Lansdown interview pre-Derby did more harm than good and fans are right to question long-term ambitions, takeover talks, the Mehmeti & Vyner sales and a lack of investment in January. As for Tinnion's scouting/recruitment, it's been poor, there has to be accountability there..
I want to keep optimistic that City are still 7 points off the play-offs, but I'm struggling here π Poor form since the turn of the year, Randell suspended, constant waves negativity around The Gate, fans getting restless, issues stemming from the top with Lansdown & Tinnion, it's getting tiring π
And no doubt that Alfie Pond will still be predicted to fall in price tonight π #FPL
Viking also in Cup action against lower league Bjarg. Tripic on the bench, no Christiansen at all (currently β οΈ)
Worth noting Mikaelsson scored from the spot, though that's with no Tripic on the pitch. If Mikaelsson starts GW1 with Christiansen still out, it might not be a bad idea to take a punt
It finished KFUM 2 TromsΓΈ 1 in the Cup with a brace from Haltvik. Daniel Braut (5th Cousin to Erling Haaland) with TIL's goal.
Good news for Cornic owners sweating on his β οΈ, he played the full 90 ππ

Struber has benched Twine and going with the two strikers up top π I'm sure this happened in the reverse fixture with Sinc & Riis starting and did well, didn't Sinc have a goal harshly ruled out for handball?
Big game, need to bounce back after the Cup disappointment β€οΈπ€ #BristolCity
My family are huge Bristol Rugby fans, no doubt this news is going to hit hard from the Bears all the way through to the local clubs around Bristol. Just awful to hear, especially at that age, a hugely popular figure that served Bristol Rugby so well
RIP Former Bristol Rugby Captain Matt Salter. 49 years old too, absolutely devastating news π’ππ
This was the post on Γdegaard from the "other place"
