I am pleased to share our newly published paper in Critical
Public Health:

“Understanding Energy Hardship and Health Among Vulnerable Populations: A Secondary Analysis of a Scoping Review”

Based on 910 student survey responses, it provides evidence-based insights into #discrimination at @universityofgalway.bsky.social using an #intersectional lens across #gender, #race, #ethnicity, #nationality, #disability, #sexualorientation, #religion, #age & #socioeconomicbackground.

The study was conducted by the Centre for Global Women’s Studies at @uniofgalway.bsky.social with support from OVPEDI & funded by the Higher Education Authority (HEA). I was delighted to be part of the research team, alongside Rediet Mengistu, under Prof. Duvvury’s leadership.

I guess it's more normal for STEM researchers, but it's still weird to see your research (with @pilarluzrodrigues.bsky.social ) come up in magazines simply as "Research from the University of..."

Still, I guess that counts as impact, right?
