y’know ppl think I’m crazy for this but this is genuinely what id want out of an A Realm Reborn Reborn (classic, basically)

Finding out that raiders used to queue up at the location changed my brain chemistry so much, just feels like a great atmosphere, even for people that are just passing by

I miss her sometimes.

I think about going back to Infinity Nikki a lot actually, just always feels like there’s more bad news than good. I can’t justify it, but it was so comfy and cute.

Hope it gets itself back on track

I still have my weird little creature unlock cards they gave me with the game.

They don’t really work anymore since they were made for the og ds screen and all i have these days are XLs but i keep them around for the nostalgia of it.

The shrine battle theme was stuck in my head for like a year after I played Rise, and it’s the first generic boss theme.

obviously songs don’t have to be catchy but it was because of that staying power that i kinda noticed a lack of it here. Noticed it a LOT when comparing the Mizutsune themes

I kind of think about this with FFXIV a lot. It never technically did this, but I feel like it wanted to originally but was too scared to actually go in on the idea which is why it was only like, a measly amount of points at max level.

it can be a lot of fun but I think the risk scares companies

I don’t know how valid this still is, but one old way of doing it that was really popular were ARF runs (Aether Research Facility), faster these days.

Ppl mentioned hunts etc, High Level and Trial with the appropriate levels are also great dailies for it, too.

Part of me's kinda fine with this because whenever I load smth up on there I always think abt how kid me dreamed of being able to play X console/PC game on the go.

But i also do miss that feeling of being able to cozy up in bed with my lil (smol) handheld that doesn't spit hot air in my face

ok cringe aside I'm watching the PC Gaming Show rn and man I love video games lol. Like in my head it's such a nothing show but then I end up seeing all these neat ideas. I added more to my wishlist during this than I did every other showcase combined.
