PJI is hiring legal interns!
We welcome applications from students completing a graduate degree in law (such as a JD or LLM) or with an undergraduate degree in law (such as an LLB) with equivalent professional experience to serve as interns for a 10-week period from roughly June to August each year
Ideal candidates have a demonstrated interest in international human rights law or international criminal law and are completing their final year of graduate law study, judicial clerks, or recent law graduates with an LLB and equivalent professional experience.

Kenya’s first ever crimes against humanity case is finally moving forward toward trial. PJI applauds the tenacity and bravery of the Pendo family as well as the many victims of torture and sexual violence in this case, who are finally one step closer to getting their day in court.
BREAKING NEWS! Yesterday, police officers accused of having committed crimes against humanity in the Baby Pendo case entered their pleas before the Milimani High Court in Nairobi.
