I'm grateful for folks like you. The insults were overwhelming, though. It always felt as if something was up, and when our channel was no longer getting its regular viewers, it was a clear sign that it just wasn't that good; it was something to fill a space for something better to take its place.

You might not agree, but leaving the youtube STG scene was probably the best thing I could have possibly done. I get bullshit comments from time to time, but it genuinely doesn't matter anymore.
If I do make something again, it will be something special, not manufactured like it used to be.
The art was always spectacular. But covering it would have been a death blow to my channel back in the day because of the copyright striking. I was the biggest channel doing Shmups stuff at the time, and I just couldn't swing it 😔
