To think they were ignorant until just recently is wrong. They knew of this content and they obviously get a slice of things since they're a platform. It's a larger scheme from those above to:
1. Force you back into capitalist structure.
2. Assault communities like furry by cutting off money flow.

But the various sites like subscribestar, patreon, gumroad, etc changing their prohibited content is targeted. Along with payment processor shit is a targeted attack on the furry fandom at large and also creators who are outside of the capitalist norm.
