That is very true. Our weapons stockpile is being depleted very quickly. You do not have the ability for a long protracted conflict.

I don't know much about their abilities either. I've just heard that it's not as great as the U.S. N. Korea has offered to give them weapons. But as long as they stick with asymmetric warfare, guerrilla tactics, they will most likely win. The US has not won when tactics were used since 1902.
I think it's a little early to say whether or not they're going to win. But if it was a war of attrition then they would definitely lose since the U.S. has more soldiers and better technology. What Iran is doing is unconventional warfare. And that's why they will probably win
Russia has never been a friend to US and Hegseth needs to study history. Russia would love nothing more for the US to implode. Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, and Qatar are discussing withdrawing from US and other investments as the toll from the war with Iran mounts. This is Trump's War.

An @wbez.org report with @mariahwoelfel.bsky.social: one.npr.org?sharedMediaI...
Federal data shows that #NIH lost ~4400 people, 20% of the workforce. Many scientists have been pushed out.
~80% of NIH $ is awarded to universities & research institutions. Funding cuts are having a trickle down effect all over the country, affecting job prospects.

Yep, other than Israel the rest of the world is not going to help us. And Iran will probably win because they are utilizing Asymmetric Warfare.
It's why the monthly job report was not good today. 92,000 jobs lost, unemployment up to 4.4%, and people are struggling to find a job.
Great article on the DOJ arguing last week that RFK Jr. should have total power over public health recommendations, even if he decides to recommend intentional exposure to deadly infectious diseases.
Heβs not been far off from this already, by repeatedly claiming that vaccines are harmful.

This is encouraging.
Kennedy promised to restore trust in our health agencies.
He achieved the opposite.
Confidence in health agencies dropped during Trumpβs first year.
38% of people trust Kennedy.
Polls show more trust in professional associations.

Good Morning Ray.
All this shit just because Kamala was a non-white woman.
March is #WomensHistoryMonth.
Before 1974, women needed permission from their spouse to get a credit card or loan.
In 1972, Rep Bella Savitsky Abzug introduced the Equal Credit Opportunity Act prohibiting lending institutions from discriminating on the basis of sex or marital status.

It was introduced in 1972.
After a lot of lobbying, two years later Gerald Ford signed the measure into law in October 1974.
Kristi Noem is out at DHS. Great.
Her replacement ALSO SUCKS.
Markwayne Mullinβformer MMA fighter, opposes abortion even for rape and incest victims, supports private prisons, and repeatedly failed to disclose stock trades on time while buying shares in companies overseen by his own committees.
This weekend, on March 7, @standupforscience.bsky.social is leading protests in 25 locations.
Scientists had warned about the replacement of evidence over ideology and the damage it would cause. Everything that I was worried about came true.

Oh man this is glorious.
Where was this before?
Our #NIH / CDC director now urges Americans to get vaccinated.
1. In 2026 we have ~1153 cases, more than half of 2025's (2279) totals.
2. South Carolina is the epicenter; w/ 990 cases alone.
3. Of those, 923 (93%) were unvaccinated.

Absolutely!!
Oooh Defend America just came out with a brand new tracker to show us, in real time, how much we're spending on the war in Iran, and what else that money could be spent on.
They come with receipts! Share this everywhere!

Question: What do you do when your grants are terminated, you lose your job and the biggest science agency in the land chooses ideology over evidence?
Answer: You launch your own damn shadow committee to fight misinformation on autism and public health.
