thanks to everyone who called, the legislature is including $1.75 bil in no-interest loans for transit (incl 750 mil for the Bay). but there's still one more thing to do!

So here’s where you can help - the California state budget is being finalized imminently. If you live in CA, call state representatives and tell them to support 2 billion dollars for statewide transit funding in the budget!

Last Friday (5/9), a computer issue suspended all BART service from before 5am until after 9am. While service was restored before the end of the morning rush, the resulting traffic impacts were felt for the rest of the day, showing just how important BART is and why we need to protect its future 1/5
