Today we received in Yangon the 2nd humanitarian plane carrying 55 tonnes of emergency supplies, including shelter, medical material, & other critical items to help people in need.

All will be distributed by Fondazione CESVI to the affected areas based on needs.

EU launches Humanitarian Air Bridge after Myanmar earthquake and provides further assistance Following the 7.7 magnitude earthquake that struck Myanmar and the broader region last Friday, the EU is channelling further assistance to strengthen relief efforts.

Today, an EU Humanitarian Air Bridge flight is transporting 80 tonnes of EU-owned supplies to support those affected by the Myanmar earthquake.

Items such as tents, health and hygiene kits will be distributed by our partners.
