10 years ago, I would have said yes, but today most people and the media prefer to blame the left for everything while letting masked neo-nazis walk in the streets and terrorizing a part of the population. Even worse, the main police union in my country has ties with the far-right.
That said, we have the same kind of Christian wackos who would like nothing more than to send us back to the Dark Ages and even bring back kings.
I can only speak for my home country, but France is a secular country, so it's forbidden to swear on the Bible or any other cult object, even if you wanted to. However, if you're caught lying, you're in trouble.
As a European, I always thought that having to swear on the Bible was dumb and ridiculous. I mean, what happens if the person swearing is a Pagan or an Atheist?😅
