I grew in the majority Catholic suburbs of New Orleans, went to Catholic schools, and never attended a Protestant service until I was an adult, so sometimes she'll just say something she learned as a kid about Baptists, and it always leaves me like I just got flashbanged.

Every now and then, my wife will tell me some random thing Protestants believe that is so shockingly confusing for my cradle Catholic ass that it throws me for an absolute loop. Like what do you mean a ton of them believe they get actual mansions in Heaven?

Legion and Chronicles and their consequences have been a disaster for this franchise's lore

WoD fascinates me because a metric ton of the worldbuilding is genuinely some of the best WoW has ever done, but oh boy when it sucked, it SUCKED

Starts with WoD, imo. That weird need to do WC2 again. They've admitted before it was just a desire to bring back the WC2 chieftains but not as undead.

At the end of the day, the writers kinda treat each WoW expac as its own little WoW universe. The current expac story is essentially the only "real" lore in WoW. Any previous lore may as well be fanon. At best, it serves as vague guidelines during development for the current expac's story.
