There should be basic qualification benchmarks that must be met before holding office in this country, not the least of which should be a comprehensive constitutional exam. You have to be licensed to cut hair, drive a semi, or be a realtor, but anyone can be president or a cabinet member? No more.

Unfortunately our entire country is losing their brightest people and not training up anyone new to replace them. It’s going to take generations to recover.

Yes. One of the best compliments I’ve ever received was when a man in one of our former wards told me that I was the kind of woman who used to get burned at the stake. 😆

This phenomenon has been happening lately where teen puts in his earbuds, and then suddenly starts walking around cleaning the house. He just cleaned half of the bathrooms and emptied the trash. He’s vacuumed multiple times this week. Those earbuds are worth every penny I paid for them.

Utah in particular also really likes banning books by women. They’ve always hated it when we think.

Tax the churches and then use that money to do actual good. Yes, we need a new, responsible administration first, but this should be put high on their list of priorities. Churches have become tax shelters for grifters and money hoarders. I can suggest a super wealthy church to start with… 😉

Roz, I always think about you when I tell these stories. We’ve had some very parallel experiences. 💚

I was paraded in front of the class as the perfect example. I remember being mortified because I’d just been to the doctor that morning and told that I needed to gain at least 20 lbs and had been put on a supplementary nutrition program.

Even more frustrating was that the teacher was a graduate student who wouldn’t have passed her own quota. My husband is an MD who also has a PhD in nutrition and this story makes him furious.

Hard but very possible with a strong support system and medical care. I haven’t had a relapse in at least 20 years.

I’m so sorry. I’ve been there. I was hospitalized in and out for 6 months. It’s a devastating illness.

Yes. It’s not good to be that thin.

Yes. We had actually been making progress on this front. Now it’s just gone. I’m actually very grateful that I don’t have to raise a daughter in this world right now.

Incidentally “healthy” body fat percentages for women should range between 21-31%.

In my aerobics class at BYU, there was a fat percentage quota to get an A. It had to be under 13%. I was the only one who passed. I was 89 lbs and a clinically anorexic ballet dancer. These standards felt like they were maybe getting better for a while, but then predators took over the country.

Um, isn’t annual salary the same as how much you’re making? Redundant much? Also, ew.
