The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.

I hate to even think this but imagine the uproar if he had also killed her dog! He is just an evil man.

What gets me about this guy is his wife is browned skinned as are his kids. What’s to stop ICE from grabbing them. Oh right…our tax dollars.

I have been getting a needle in the eye for almost 2 years for wet macular degeneration. It really doesn’t hurt. They use 3 numbing agents first. It burns about an hour later but artificial tears takes care of it. Better than going blind!

Jack waiting patiently for Dad to come home from fishing. He usually goes but he has a tendency to pee in the boat and the guy my husband is with has a $100,00. bass boat.

Our son-in-law died of Huntington’s 3 years ago. This type of research hopefully will lead to a cure. He had 2 sons who have been tested and were both negative. I wish he could have lived long enough to know.

This is not about the merits of Iran’s nuclear program. No president has the authority to bomb another country that does not pose an imminent threat to the US without the approval of Congress. This is an unambiguous impeachable offense.

My husband picked up a book today at our library. He said it was packed because today was the 1st day of the summer reading program. So glad to see this! Kids all over the place with their parents.

Retired RN here and I agree. I was hospitalized in the fall and one of the nurses had on a hooded sweatshirt over a band t-shirt and jeans. In my day we wore white pants and a colored top…not a t-shirt. But I guess I’m old and out of touch.

In a healthy information environment, this would be front-page news.

In the past year we have had 3 instances of fraud on our Medicare statements totally close to $60,000. They were from clinics in NY. In each instance we called the fraud line. Maybe go after these clinics instead of citizens.

We have an Ukraine flag flying instead of US. Our neighbors reaction: she hung up one too and a Canadian one also. Too bad we have Trumpers next door.
