Let me be clear: I’m glad Kristi Noem was fired. But we still have to abolish ICE.
The stupidest possible replacement for Noem. Considerably stupider than Noem herself, and comparably thuggish and violent.
It's really good news that Noem is being underbussed, but Mullin is a guarantee of yet more horrid (though politically very damaging and utterly ineffective) idiocy to come.
Reminder that a president can't just "announce" a permanent new DHS secretary by fiat; Mullin still has to get confirmed by the Senate. He needs 50 senators to support him (and there's a very good chance he'll get that).
