I feel like it's them being on the side of grifting podcasters insisting Lightyear flopped because lesbians showed up for 5 seconds and not because the rest of that hour and 44 minutes was just kinda bad

Though after how the 1993 Mario movie bombed in every possible way had Nintendo stay for away from doing movies for years them not liking the block is probably a good explanation for why we haven't had a new TV show with Nintendo IP since the Kirby anime
