Police body cam footage shows DOGE knew Institute of Peace was private property during raid Footage obtained by The Handbasket’s lawsuit shows a hostile takeover on March 17, 2025.

SCOOP β€” Body camera footage obtained as a result of my lawsuit against the DC Metropolitan PD confirms DOGE and the Trump administration openly admitted they were entering private property when they raided the building on March 17, 2025. That didn't stop MPD from breaking down the doors.

My report:

Is Music in Political Campaigns Fair Use? | Copyright Alliance Is music in political campaigns fair use? Copyright Alliance's experts discuss what factors determine if something is considered fair use.

The claims would be something along the lines of stifling their speech through government action trying to negate their disapproval and imply their consent copyrightalliance.org/faqs/music-p... and figure out damages / settlement but the damage is done but the government will probably concede

Such a good video essay! Lily demonstrates how there is a clear link between the NYT's intentional position against feminist and trans civil rights, ICE abolition, and the genocide in Palestine with the broader crackdown on labour power and organizing in journalism as an industry.

As I get older I'm coming to increasingly radical views like "you have to do things to get good at them" and "you have to think about problems to solve them"

A lot of the insecurity conversation I've seen is more about how we can guarantee due to the structure of the model that you will introduce well hidden errors accidentally, and a lot of formal verification is predicated on the formality being verified manually before any automated verification

Trees are freaks of nature. They grow a hundred feet tall by eating sunlight and air and we’re all just here pretending this is normal.

Don Knuth, Stanford Computer Science Department

(28 February 2026; revised 02 March 2026)

Shock! Shock! I learned yesterday that an open problem I’d been working on for several weeks had just been solved by Claude Opus 4.6 β€” Anthropic’s hybrid reasoning model that had been released three weeks earlier! It seems that I’ll have to revise my opinions about β€œgenerative AI” one of these days. What a joy it is to learn not only that my conjecture has a nice solution but also to celebrate this dramatic advance in automatic deduction and creative problem solving. I’ll try to tell the story briefly in this note.

She’d Never Changed Her Gender Marker. Kansas Invalidated Her License Anyway. β€” Assigned A trans Kansas resident recently changed her name but not her gender marker on her license, fearing what Kansas may do if she did. The Kansas DMV still flagged her ID.

This story, from @natezuke.bsky.social, is absolutely wild. A trans woman who never changed her gender marker was issued a letter invalidating her license. At the DMV they cut up her license, which had an "M" marker.

A good chunk of the right has absolutely not advanced past thinking it’s dumb that β€œsex” and β€œgender” are separate form fields and as such see anything like that as being ideologically threatening; it’s just easier to control kids than adults
