If you, like me, are concerned about the direction our country will go if a Trump Tower is built in our country, then join me in objecting! petitions.getup.org.au/petitions/st... @getup.org.au
I dunno - "ensemble space western about eking out a living on the rim of the space-fascist empire". That's not GOTG, is it Star Wars? It's not any of the movies, but I haven't seen the TV shows
Thanks! I can't remember the score you had to get, but you didn't have to beat the whole game. Think I only had to survive those rocket cars a few levels :-)
Absolutely. Well said
Continuing the #snes theme, trying #secretofmana. This is a weird action/rpg mix. Feels like Square Enix trying Zelda?
Also - it's two players?
#rpg
Finished #snes #shadowrun! I had not appreciated how much the atmosphere did heavy lifting in this game.
Still fun though. And the soundtrack is still excellent.
It ends with a teaser for Shadowrun II. Sad. I did try to buy this game in he 90s, but could not find it anywhere
I never realised that #snes #shadowrun has "dermal plating", and that it looks like a metal bum.
"All men hate the wretched; how, then, must I be hated, who am miserable beyond all living things"
Am re-reading (listening to) Frankenstein. The above line caught me.
I do love #snes #shadowrun
This was such an excellent clip. I'd heard the name, but had no idea who this guy was. Talk about changing the world
Relatable.

I hear that a warrant has been issued for John Farnham immediately.
I think of the sorts of people who'd fall for this and weep
I used to have a problem with games dragging on forever, then I hit upon a great answer - three acts, hard(ish) deadlines of 1hr each. If you fall behind, cut content to get to the next "milestone" at the appropriate time.
Usually it winds up 4hrs, not 3hrs. But it's never gone beyond that!
I listened to this audiobook of #TimWinton #TheRiders. It's from the early 90s. Imagine my surprise to learn that filming for a film version, starring Brad Pitt and produced by Ridley Scott, has just commenced.
But central to the book is that the protagonist, who will be played by Pitt, is ugly.
Antony Green did a pretty cool blog post on this
With a writing career spanning more than half a century, John Wagner is quite rightly regarded as one of the all-time greats of comics!
This week he joins Mike Molcher for the start of an expansive three-part interview about his incredible life in comics βΆοΈ https://bit.ly/4qiV1K5
I was about to say this, but you've preempted me. And you're also correct, Palmer was referencing the vote, Shorten was referencing the campaign
Can't believe I only recently discovered this youtu.be/7PTvxw4fc9M?...
I remember being told about this as a kid and thought it was stupid. Time to do the next generation a favour I suppose
Went here for the first time a little while ago. It was obviously a real labour of love that's run down a bit (some of the houses fallen apart, the "train robbery" long gone, etc). But still pretty fascinating.
Curious if any buildings were genuine - guessing not but unclear
That's probably right.
Etrian Odyssey 4 (haven't played the others) went in the middle by using the stylus on a DS to make maps that were a lot more user friendly than hand-made ones. But that's rather hardware specific!
Definitely a space for Bard's Tale with interesting combat. Are you thinking user-mapping (BT 1 and 2) or auto-mapping (BT3)?
Such an awesome tagline π
Sorry I realise that is irrelevant to your point
At least another two if you count pre-federation. Rum Rebellion md I think there was a convict uprising too - all shot under the flag of truce I think
Imagine telling your kid "sorry there's been a mix up. We don't want you anymore - we've ordered a replacement".
The psychological harm if nothing else
