According to Common Good Iowa, wage theft robs 250,000 Iowans of over $900,000,000 every year. SF 147 would strengthen Iowa's weak wage theft laws and better protect working Iowans and law-abiding businesses from bad actors.

It's time to put Iowa's workers ahead of corporate interests.

Iowa Senate Democrats have always and will always support the brave men and women serving in Iowa's fire departments. While Senate Republicans have pulled SF 272, we eagerly await the opportunity to support HSB 266 when it makes its way to the Senate.
