These are trusted folks who have already helped 10% of all Central Minneapolis households pay rent. Please pitch in: gofund.me/d4acb0e6c

Welcome to Minneapolis with burning Whipple building
Moon palace has done it again
ICE kidnapped a neighbor in Phillips today along with others in MN. They are still the same rogue, abhorrent, & illegitimate organization meant to terrorize & separate families.
As I said yesterday, I am still asking the community to remain cautious & vigilant. We still need help.

Large sign on a light pole that says “Kristi Noem eats worms”
Minneapolis sign game is strong and weird.
We are going to get a writing group started hopefully in March! It will be welcoming to all levels and any type of writing style. More on this later 🫡
We are a bookstore, so maybe it's weird coming from us. However, a way to protect small businesses, like indie bookstores, is to protect our neighbors from eviction! People don't really buy stuff when they don't have a home.
right... you could still pass that eviction moratorium to lessen that strain
Twin Cities peeps! Join me at @subtextbookstore.bsky.social on March 24th to talk about my book!

Swear to god, ICE could just announce they're leaving a city but not leave and the media will just stop covering that city completely even though ICE never left.
It's what ICE and the media did with LA and they're doing it with Minneapolis too

2000 agents are still here. Woke up this morning to horns and whistles down my street -- panic jumped out of bed ready to run outside, but the cars were being pursued. ICE is still kidnapping people, still getting stymied at every turn, still brutalizing observers because they know they're losing.
Thank you to everyone who attended last nights poetry reading to honor Renee Good. And thank you to the poets, Davi Grey, Michael Kleber-Digs, Amy Leanne Johnston, and Sana Wazwaz. We want to do more stuff like this!
if you can, enact a statewide eviction moratorium.

Heading over to @subtextbookstore.bsky.social for a special poetry reading. We'll be listening to the works of Renee Nicole Good.
Raw. Meaningful. Packing soft paper tissue just in case.
Time to dust off some books and refresh my memory for those pretending America wasn't always like this.
