Yeah dunno, it's always been like this on both Linux and Windows for me. Chrome extension definitely prompts me less and realizes when the desktop app is already unlocked.
Is there a reason the 1Password Firefox extension is so much worse than Chrome's? Seems to ask for my password every single time, and doesn't integrate with Windows Hello (fingerprint/face unlock).
It's a good way to dodge the JS ecosystem if your language of choice has a good framework for it. We're using go-app.dev for v3.dagger.cloud and now we can share all the frontend logic between the TUI and web UI. Happy to go into more detail, might write a blog post about it or something.
