This is known as the riddle of the trash barricades: We've established MPD is never going to intervene in cases of reckless, dangerous behavior/driving by federal agents. So why send cops to disassemble barricades erected to address a problem that police won't?

Plant names, especially use-names, are wonderful things. I always wanted to write a noir mystery starring Daisy Fleabane and Harry (hairy) Bellflower.

They are wonderful!

The wild snapdragons in the US upper Midwest that are yellow and brighter orange-yellow are also called butter-and-eggs.

Toadflax, including wild snapdragons, are indeed magic as fuck.

(You can make the flowers move like little dragon faces, snapping their jaws at things.)

A tired-looking but smiling person in a long dark blue plaid dress is taking a mirror selfie by a turquoise banner saying DO MORE OF WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY. They have pink flowered shoes peeking out beneath the blue underskirt. Their hair is up, but it's escaping in every direction already, and it's still before 1 p.m.

A Superfund site in MN is spreading, disrupting a tribe's way of life - MinnPost Little progress has been made despite 40 years of cleanup on Leech Lake Reservation. Locals fear for the health of surrounding waterways.

"From 1957 to 1985, the St. Regis Paper Company operated a wood preserving facility in Cass Lake. During that time, it used the land as a dumping ground for its waste." www.minnpost.com/environment/...

Every family Iโ€™ve supported with rides to medical appts over the last 2 months has also been at HCMC.

This hospital is so critical.

Something like that was done here in Costa Rica. We have an electoral ID that is used as the main identification document for everything. After a binding opinion of the Inter-American Human Rights Court, it was decided that the gender should be remove it to protect transgender people.

It's a crocheted neck ruffle thingie. I need to add a little more to the top, possibly with a closure that ties, since it has stretched some over time. (I made it a bunch of years back.)

The person, dressed in black and grey and wearing big sheet metal glasses, looks better rested than last week, and in a better mood, too.

Is it time or past time to take some meds? Take 'em if you got 'em and need to.

Are you drinking enough? It's cold, maybe you need to moissturize more or dig out the good lip balm or refill your humidifier.

Remember to eat.

Fuck ICE.

Someone downthread points out that blowing a whistle is a First Amendment protected form of free speech. Good point.

And also I forgot to say that the emergency response in observing involves recording, video, photos, witnessing, all that. You know: observing. (Sorry for lack of clarity.)

I'm noticing it a lot in people outside Minnesota and other surge areas. They are people who are definitely supportive, but they're calling everybody "protestors".
