Going by the numbers on KXAN's election results page, 2,145,007 Texans voted in the Democratic gubernatorial primary, versus 2,127,326 in the Republican. When was the last time Texas Dems outvoted Republicans in a primary? In *2018*, Rs outvoted D's by 50%!
We had trouble with our polling stations in Texas yesterday. Definitely the GOPs fault, but of course some Dems who lost their primaries are blaming that.
I don't understand why more people on the Dem side won't do early voting. We have shenanigans almost every cycle in Texas on election days.

It is really hard sometimes to keep the big picture in mind but whereas it was noteworthy that just two people were elected to Congress in 2018 who were openly and hyper critical of Israel, in 2026 it will be more than two dozen.

This is a county-by-county policy; here in Travis county voters can still vote anywhere. But in adjoining GOP-led Williamson County voters are suddenly stuck in just one precinct, and it's causing problems.
