Good question! Gotta double-check with the devs, but iirc, yeah—you should be able to choose if you want to keep your posts exclusive to Pebbler’s servers/community or if you want to make it more public on AT Protocol (which BSky and any other app on that network uses)
It’s cool to see people joining the network! We’re slow and steady, but are taking our time to make sure we plan our infrastructure and business in a way that is sustainable and billionaire-proof. Profit isn’t the point—helping people is. It’s gonna take time to change capitalism from within.
Let us know if you find out. We want to support what their community needs, as well, if we can! Our app is a slower build but we’re going for a hybrid model (AT Protocol and our own centralized servers for features BlueSky/AT Protocol doesn’t support, like moderation, unique ecosystem stuff, etc.
Ours is in the works as well, but we definitely support what BlackSky is doing and also want to know what they need! If they want to work with us to make our app reflect what their community needs, we’re open!
