Absolutely! I was horrified reading it now that I’m a bit older and admittedly I hadn’t read them in awhile, but dang, he was really sending Faendal to his death. It was (and is) very likely that Camilla would report him, given that she literally came from the heart of the Empire.
LOL this is so real though. Totally valid. His selfishness and big head could get others locked up for treason or very easily killed
