I would argue that no one has experience navigating the real world better than people living in poverty

We chop a lotta game, that’s how we do it at the playaz club
Newly released footage shows an ICE agent killing Rubin Ray Martinez, 23, in his car in Texas.
"He was shot at point-blank range through his side window by an ICE agent who was in no danger."

cal rolls over for a fielders choice, minutes later julio runs the DR out of an inning. fuck the mariners lol
We’re partnering with Kalshi in an effort to make the world worse and less tethered to any semblance of objective reality, and we’re excited to show you more
It’s the same actor I do t know if it’s supposed to be the same person
I mean come ON
World’s fucked; watching mulholland drive
It’s like the award never stood for anything in the first place
Big east officials will be damned if they let the players decide this game
I’m 62 years old, I live in Tampa, I eat corn and beef everyday, I always have a titleist hat on, and Iran is the biggest threat to my freedom
This War Will Destabilize The Entire Mideast Region And Set Off A Global Shockwave Of Anti-Americanism vs. No It Won’t
I can't fucking believe we're doing this again.
It’s insane that we can’t give the authoritarian right our undivided attention because we have to constantly explain this to people that claim to be “on our side”
Sacrificing certain things you believe in is necessary in a lot of elections because people are imperfect and many candidates wont check every box that’s important to you. But mandating that one of the boxes you sacrifice should be “stop funding genocide” is far more ridiculous than any purity test
the only way someone can feel this is a legitimate perspective on the election is if they’ve never spoken to anyone with personal connections to the regions terrorized by Israel. Talk to anyone with Palestinian, Lebanese, Jordanian family and tell them they’re wrong for not voting to fund genocide
other people can make inroads and find common ground with regretful trump voters, in my personal capacity as a private citizen i am committed to hating those dumb motherfuckers for the rest of my life
I just genuinely think that too many people are too stupid for our society to survive, and maybe that’s good, idk. But I just don’t see a way to solve these issues when so many people are so fucking stupid about so many things
Someone said to me recently, “when I was in elementary school I needed 11 vaccines, now doctors demand 89 vaccines to go to school, that’s fucking WRONG.”
Guy you were in elementary school in 1982 we also require seatbelts in cars now. But yeah let’s get the real sugar back in Coke that’ll do it
And all these idiots still think they’re conservative while an authoritarian government tramples all over the constitution and dismantles every institution they can’t outright control. They don’t believe in science, they don’t believe in journalism.
AI companies must bend to the DoDs will or this administration will destroy them. The President is genuinely asking if there’s a court above the Supreme Court through which he can appeal SCOTUS decisions. We keep finding Israeli genocide. We’re on the brink of multiple wars on multiple continents
I have absolutely no faith that anything will ever get better again. The people who voted for this are too stupid for self-reflection so they’re just gonna keep living and talking and acting and voting this way until we’re all dead
Let’s fuckin goooooooooooo
This is of course the same tired right wing bullshit from Newsom because no dem politicians are spending much time on pronouns. It's a thing that republicans pretend and a thing dem politicians say when they're pitching to republican voters
fucking your computer is the future. if you're not fucking your computer right now you're gonna miss the revolution. fucking your computer is going to change everything
So much duplicity and deviousness going down in Westeros
I think I could name 3
Be sure to ask why he’s voted to fund ICE and what is his specific beef with the unhoused
All of these were labeled as “rude” lol. Rude to whom?
Just a quick update from the Twin Cities. (Please forgive the unsolicited message). THINGS ARE NOT BETTER IN MINNEAPOLIS. The media is mostly moving on, Trump is focused on other stuff, BUT NOTHING HAS CHANGED ON THE GROUND. More than 2,000 DHS thugs continue to roam the streets, abducting people 24/7, assaulting legal observers with impunity, and routinely denying 1st, 4th, and 5th amendment rights. Drones and helicopters are overhead every day. Hundreds and hundreds of terrified families have not left their homes since mid-December ... relying on the community to bring them food and help with rent and other necessities. (Those people are NOT violent drug cartel sex offending murderers, as DHS would tell you. Most are legal residents or citizens.) If anything, things have just become more stressful and intractable (think trench warfare as a suitable metaphor): The resistance is better organized and numerous, but DHS has become more clever and better at disguise... and the county sheriff's office is increasingly supporting them . Do not let anyone tell you that Homans (the new person in charge of the occupation) is making anything better. Do not let anyone tell you that 700 ICE agents leaving the city has made much of a difference; the remaining force (again, ~2,000) is still larger than the entire city's police force (which is legally unable to do anything). Please call your congressional reps ... especially if there is any chance the administration might listen to them.
A desperate plea sent to me by a Minneapolis resident who's been on the front lines since the beginning of the ICE occupation:
