I've seen a couple of discussions online about silicosis recently.
It's hard to see dust levels in the air and the condition takes years to develop, so it's hard to judge your risk level, but a (relatively) cheap Air Quality Monitor can give a far more accurate sense of any exposure.
Cosmic Wave Drippy Slip mug. I'm thinking this will probably be next month's Limited Edition option.
I have a love-hate relationship with Drippy Slip pieces. When they work, they're some of my all time favourites, but the randomness can be hard to tolerate.

At least one person didn't like it though
I made an excessively long (but hopefully still interesting) video about using ChatGPT for glaze recipes: youtu.be/u5LsEDaBa6s
I just recorded the last 30 minutes of dialogue for my video about why ChatGPT is useless for glaze recipes, and an intermittent issue with my new microphone has made the whole thing pretty much useless. You win this round, technology ๐ก
I intended to start it about a year ago, but it felt like it would be obsolete by the time I finished it. I've repeatedly thought about working on it since, and each time I felt the same. Now I finally started, it's kinda funny that everything gets disrupted
I'll be a little annoyed if DeepSeek bursts the AI bubble before I get around to finishing my ChatGPT glaze video/blog post!
Thanks! It's been a while since I was on a more text-based and/or static image platform, and I'm looking forward to finding out what works on here
The effect that a circular polarising filter has on reducing reflection glare when photographing glossy pots. This is going to make a big difference to my product photography! #pottery #photography
I feel like the most important change is how and what you fire. Packing the kiln efficiently and only firing work that is likely to be usable at the end will allow you to use less energy and reclaim more clay that would likely have been discarded after firing. #pottery #environment
I'm working on a few bits of content on using ChatGPT for glazes.
Unsurprisingly, it ranges from acceptable to completely useless and incorrect (with no way to tell which is which unless you already knew the answer).
Are there any aspects/questions you'd like me to try to cover?
