losing an hour on International Women’s Day feels right
Very happy that the game I'm working on has no pvp currently and its spot on the to do list is somewhere way down, if we have time, in limited arenas, etc. Makes my life so much more peaceful too!
You first experienced in college, when you could be the hardcore player you think you still are, and damned the consequences, WoW was your job. But you are pushing 40, and your knees hurt. You can never go home again.
Having worked on both MMOs and open world games, it does feel like the crowd clamoring for more and more ambitious and more consequential pvp is always the same thrill-seekers who will desert your game the moment it stops providing dopamine. The problem for these folks is you are chasing a high 1/

It looks fucking sick and around here these are v rare (even the non Type R versions), so the models are usually $$$$ or completely ran through. Pity!
My "my surveillance network doesn't enable mass surveillance" tshirt is raising a lot of questions that I can hear thanks to my surveillance network
Do you know if there's a bigger res of this anywhere? This is so cool I really want it on my wall...

Watched the video last night and thought to myself "that man is s-s-s-so back!"
Trying my hardest not to buy the game this morning, or you know, maybe just to read, maybe just a little... as a treat
r/analytics • IOh We just found out our AI has been making up analytics data for 3 months and I'm gonna throw up. Support So we've been using an Al agent since November to answer leadership questions about metrics. It seemed amazing at first fast answers, detailed explanations, everyone loved it. I just found out it's been hallucinating numbers this entire time. Our VP of sales made territory decisions based on data that didn't exist. Our CFO showed the board a deck with fake insights. The Al was just inventing plausible sounding percentages. I only caught it by accident when someone asked me to double check something. I started digging, and holy shit, it's bad.
lol this is gonna burst so fucking hard
if you asked me to diagnose the western game industry's current problem it would start with "landlords have absorbed basically all disposable income"

Conversely, staring at my exercise bike in the corner of my office but not actually getting on it *exacerbates* my issues, which feels illegal. How is this inert thing guilt-tripping me??
We've raised nearly $6800 for this utterly essential organization (see thread).
Can you help us get to $7500 today?

This whole mess is real fun to write takes about because no self-respecting leftist should ever go “AND YOU SHOULD GIVE EVERYONE THE SHITTY STATE TRINKET”, but also it’s blatantly bullshit to leave unstable contracts out of your list for the shitty state trinket
Remember if you watch this show or buy this merch, no trans person will like or trust you ever again. Sorry but those are the rules.

how about after the game launches they lay off the CEO
