Two Live Nation Entertainment Inc. executives bragged about the high fees the company charges fans at its venues, joking in internal messages that the company is "robbing them blind" and that "these people are so stupid" that "I almost feel bad taking advantage of them." In a series of chats from 2022, Ben Baker and Jeff Weinhold, two regional directors of ticketing for Live Nation amphitheaters, boasted about their ability to raise so-called "ancillary fees" - like parking, lawn chair rentals and VIP access - and still get concertgoers to pay for them. In one exchange, Weinhold gloated about raising VIP parking costs at a Virginia concert venue to $250. "These people are so stupid. I almost feel bad taking advantage of them," Baker wrote, adding later, "I gouge them on ancil prices."

The only thing that's delayed me is the sheer work of migrating; there's a lot of stuff I made back in the day that was very forward-thinking, but never got to shine properly.
Now I have a chance, but there's so much of it the weight of the work is overwhelming even though the platform is great.
I moved over to Streamelements from Labs years ago because one of their employees was willing to help me code a custom setup; I appreciated all the work he put in, but it still has degraded badly and doesn't work right.
I just wanted AND statements for my alerts.
I'm moving to streamer.bot asap.

How are the mechanics looking compared to the mainline Banjo games? I never even knew about Grunty's Revenge until long after the fact, so I don't know how the gameplay (conceptually, not literally) compares.
Honestly it's bizarre seeing you complain about this in 2026; not because you're wrong to, but because I can't believe I'm seeing the same complaints I saw when I was a teenager/college student. You'd think people would grow up; apparently only some of us did.

In some of the best news I've gotten in ages, I heard back from the law firm in Bratislava I contacted last year; they found my great-grandfather's birth records. I have an extremely strong case for claiming citizenship via ancestry, giving me dual citizenship.
