I've been doing school visits under the Writers in the Schools program, and the teachers and librarians often tell me the importance of this program in getting kids to engage with authors and discover new ways of storytelling. I'm so angry that this program is being gutted. NS, Write your MLAs!

I have definitely felt a change in the culture around posting too. I wouldn't mind a push towards more personal distribution/newsletters, but I suppose that reduces one's reach. A lot of things to consider, as always! Thanks for your thoughts!

My opinion is about the same, and I couldn't run those programs on my setup. My reach has been too small for reposting/theft really, so I don't worry specifically about the satourni integrity I suppose. If I do go back to it perhaps I'll only post lower resolution than before. ty for your thoughts!
I'd like to go back to sharing art at some point, but it seems like the situation may be fundamentally different now. Is there any consensus on using glaze/nightshade/ other data-protective processes? Or are people just posting how they've always done? Let me know your opinion.
