It’s a mix of stuff I’ve picked up over the years. Some of it is ancient. The tower in the middle was a recent purchase from eBay.

I do adore @badsquiddogames.bsky.social - some of the best (and most necessary) minis around.
It’s right next to me while I’m painting. Great motivation! Now of course I immediately want to start painting a bunch of Bronze Age civilians to go with it…
I have them. Great book for flicking through. Also thinking of Guards of Traitors Toll for something unusual. Either way, I want civilians to be a thing.
I might actually have enough terrain and painted minis to start playing 5L soon!
Cheers Ian. Sometimes it’s nice to get out the nice toys and be a kid again.
2x2 board covered in flat topped adobe buildings all of various styles and colours.
Another view.
And another.
Gangs of New Pavis! I wanted a layout where you can get right across the table without touching the ground. Lots of Prince of Persia leaping about. Looks good for 2x2. Need a few more buildings to take it up 2x3 or 3x3. Planning a forested ruin table which I will build myself from @fenrisgames.com
I’d been looking for a decent priced copy for a while so delighted to finally pick one up. Bootiful!
This definitely exists in my Glorantha.
It‘s the only game I log onto now and then just to ride about and clamber over world heritage sites.
Book cover The Art of Assassins Creed Odyssey showing a Greek fella getting his stab on.
Double book spread of a dusty sunlit canyon lined with colossal statues of bull headed figures. What looks like a market visible further up.
View of a Greek city at twilight. A man and a woman look out from a balcony at the hazy panorama.
Page showing buildings lined up along streets with a mix of styles and sizes.
Some inspirational reading for this evening while I mess about with scenery. Lovely book of a lovely game. I could spend hours just walking around looking at cool stuff.

Nobodywill ever be as cool as Oz 😎
I can imagine. My (now up to #4) have it filled an ark with various small furry and feathery critters
Awwww that’s lovely. Can imagine how excited the little fellow is
That’s a damn fine looking boy. Are these his first times out and about in the countryside?
Use that layout exactly to make a Jennell Jaquays style dungeon.
One of the @fenrisgames.com show displays containing assorted RubbleCity models including ruined cottages and larger buildings, a humpbacked bridge, small barrow mound, glowing summoning circle and an ancient open air temple with broken columns populated with fighting skeletons and Greek adventurers.
Imagine if you just had display cabinets full of scenery just sitting around the house.
random collection of modular model stone blocks, stairs, broken columns and rune-engraved statuary on a green work mat. a troll adventurer stands in their centre. a pc keyboard and tools are in the background.
what's the point of manufacturing minis and scenery if you can't play with them on your desk?
All is right in the world when you have a furry head resting on your feet.
It’s weirdly liberating and sooooo quick, well, 3 days quick rather than 6 days. Still, duck vampires? 🤔
Did Rainbow want to say hello?
Hey, wargames crowd, I need some advice. I'm looking to sell one of my scratch-built terrain sets to free up some room - but what do you charge for something like this?
Meso-American/Lizardmen jungle set. 3x3 mat not included (for scale only).
Same group as above, 5 vampires all in shade of black and grey
The group pic is a bit washed out, here’s a better one.
Big pale dude in black armour and black and grey clothing. His face is hidden by a masked helmet. He’s mid swing with a great axe and there’s a dash of blood on the blade.
5 pal figures. 2 flanking are both masked great axe warriors, the other 3 are a huge topless guy with beard, woman with ribcage corset and iron crown and 2 children. All have blood on their mouth.
Another Vivamort cultist. He’s one of the cults guard dogs, mortals who serve in the hope they get bit one day and become a vampire. Love the dynamism on this guy. All but the kiddos are @fenrisgames.com sculpted by @mad-elf.bsky.social
Nice bit of proper painting.
😆 I like the babysitters one especially. I love CoC one offs. You can really lean into the “Why yes, my character WILL go investigate the strangle noises coming from the cellar on her own” without the thought that you’re only a month into a year long adventure And do you really want to make a new PC
Norwegian photographer, women's suffragist Marie Høeg (1866-1949) made late 19thc and early 20thc photography including self portraits which challenged how women were expected to be portrayed
Born in 1789, Thomas James came from Montserrat in the Caribbean and served with the 18th Light Dragoons. At Waterloo he did not take part in the battle, but was severely wounded while defending officers’ baggage from looters. Alongside others in the detachment, he was awarded the Waterloo Medal.
Ahmet Ali Çelikten[1][2] (born İzmirli Alioğlu Ahmed; 1883 – 24 June 1969), also known as İzmirli Ali Ahmet (English: Ahmet Ali from İzmir), was a Turkish aviator of Afro-Turkish descent regarded as the first black pilot in history.[3][4][5] He was one of the first black men to become a fighter pilot, receiving his "wings" in 1914.
The only one I didn’t think to save source. A woman in black with face covered except for her eyes. She is in a fighting stance wielding a sabre. The landscape is dry and dusty.
I love collecting pics of people who radiate PC energy.
Damn that’s too good an idea NOT to do! 😁
Call of Cthulhu btw.
