Djano, an anthro/furry brown wolf, looks up at daylight breaking through the top of a volcano, which he's climbing up through the inside of. One arm clings to a large rock he's climbing up, and the other swings out freely as he twists his body around. Streams of magma leak out of the rocks nearby as he looks up with a look of determination on his face, the flare he needs to summon the helicopter at the end firmly clenched in his teeth. His fur is rough and dirty from the race.

The comic stars Nes (a muscular anthro/furry kangaroo with a white tank top and grey shorts) and Ryan (an anthro/furry raccoon in a red t-shirt with a yellow logo on it and tan pants). In the first panel, Nes says to Ryan as they stand in their kitchen, "I'm gonna be busy today, so could you go and grab a new toaster? This one's toast." Ryan snickers as he responds, "Good one! Yeah, sure dude." In the second panel, Nes looks back as he turns away to leave, "... Oh! Heh. I didn't even-" Then continues, rubbing the back of his head with one of his ears pinned down, "Anyway, the toasters should be around the microwaves at Mall-Mart. See ya!" In the third panel, the comic cuts to later that day, with Ryan standing in the middle of the Macintosh Plus Floral Shoppe album cover. He's on the phone with Nes as he looks up in thought, "Yeah. I'm lost. And I don't see any toasters here." He continues, "Yep." Then in a moment of realization based on whatever Nes said to him on the phone, "Ooooohh... in the MICROwave section. Gotcha." The punchline is Ryan confused the microwave section with the vaporwave section, which... somehow exists at Mall-Mart, a bit of surreal humor on top of everything.

I had a dumb idea for a comic, and since it made me laugh, I was required to make it.
