The demo may be a year old, but the concept is far older, (2019), so even just the demo was a long-time coming, so it’s still incredibly rewarding to see people play it and enjoy it. Got plenty more in the works, so hold tight!
MUSESTRUCK’s demo was released on itch.io this day one year ago now! Thanks to all who’ve stuck around since it released, and to all who shared and played it.
Half of making art is what you share, and the other half is what you Don’t. Iteration is part of the process, so it can hamper it if you feel pressured to share everything. So, if you’re an artist, don’t feel pressured to release things if you don’t want to, it’s yours, don’t forget that.
My advice I guess is that, it’s ok not to go public with everything you make if you don’t feel confident yet. It’s ok to have stuff you only show your friends. I’m glad I waited to really show the world what I had, because now I’m much more confident in what I do.
In 2025 I released the MUSESTRUCK Demo, my first ever public video game release. It feels weird to say that it’s only been this year, but it has. I think it’s because I’ve made many projects before that never Saw public release (and probably never will.)

Progress has been going well for MUSESTRUCK, it’s been full steam ahead the past couple weeks. ‘Act 2’ Is coming together very nicely, it’s looking to be about twice as long as the demo, lol. I will try and post a full update later this month.
