my bf and i are at bitter odds about MOS, i love especially their yasai burger + “onipote” mixed fries/onion ring sides and think their modest portion sizes are satisfying… wheras he thinks all their burgers are flavorless and don’t satisfy his appetite at all

haha it actually does… we only found it kinda late during our reservation but i did at least notice it’s more eager to hang the revs high even after releasing the accel pedal on full auto mode

yeah i thought it was pretty alright, even though i could still feel the delay of the transmission’s computer or solenoids attempting to react to my foot inputs. i did like how the accel pedal had a detent right before WOT position like i’m about to pull the trigger on a mean downshift lol

yeah i feel it prolly can be solved w/low-position rails, though andrew also said the OEM seat’s side bolstering was barely better than my car.

OTOH i guess “nose coming into contact with roof” is still better than “throat coming into contact with roof” even with low-posi seat rails on the s660 lol

it’s too bad because i actually enjoyed this ND miata thingy despite it being an automatic. it felt quite like my s660, but… *sigh*… less inherently vibratey and crashy😑

anyway… i think the best end-users can hope for, regardless of NI's fate, is someone doing the dirty deed of breaking Kontakt's DRM so libraries can be converted to whatever sampler format out there… which i can assume the un-DRM part wouldn't be in the best interests for sample vendors themselves

seriously speaking though, i think what'd be more likely is that they'll get bought out by InMusic, especially with NI's current tie-in with Akai... so then vendors and end-users get to deal with InMusic's own shitty antics lol

i only knew of the private equity thing a bit shortly after migrating my DAW to my recently-bought macbook pro, but honestly i knew something was amiss the moment i went to NI’s site for downloads & saw all those new redundant producer instrument packs with Al gen-looking thumbnails

all the sample library vendors who went wholesale into supporting creakyass Kontakt: y’all got hella played. bail outta this NI crap ASAP, it’s a convoluted mess of a sinking ship and it ain’t gonna get better
