Anyone decent will be lucky to get anything but bones if it goes that way.

I also wonder how this would shift training if we reframed who most needs therapy and who is capable of providing it.

What if we, as therapists, conceptualised whiteness as a mental health condition and white supremacy and racist violence as merely it's most harmful presentation. Can we look at the other ways it presents?

I had to see it to believe it. All over sussex white people have created their own communities, their own schools where whitewashed history is taught exclusively and the royal family is celebrated along with britains colonial history.

It's a long standing service I'm not that familiar with as they're primarily psychodynamic. I do worry about what's happening in their placement supervision and service more generally though. Anyone who sees trans and NB folks as the as yet uncured is going to be offering more harm than support.

Just saw that Brighton has five "thoughtful therapists" for trans conversion therapy. One of them runs one of the largest low cost counselling and placement services in town.

Happy birthday Marsha P. Johnson, visionary and fiery Black trans activist who birthed a movement. She’d by 80 today, and should still be alive.

Her legacy is one of revolutionary advocacy for global LGBTQ+ liberation. Her life is a testament to the need for sex worker rights & decriminalization.
