If you’re into crappy sounding vinyl then rejoice as Castle Rat have teamed up with Metal Hammer to do a picture disc of their new album and perhaps more importantly also a little sword wielding rat toy

Wild that for as long I can remember there’s been endless hand wringing from the American comics industry about its decline and what they can learn from Manga etc etc etc, meanwhile 2000AD just be out here sticking judge helmets on dinosaurs and balling

M6 delays in Staffordshire after lorry sheds load of offal Long delays and queues are reported after the spillage between Stafford and Stoke-on-Trent

On the mawpath!

Worrying times for the residents of Stoke-on-Trent as they could find themselves just 6" away from a deep striking Mourning pack or Ironblaster unit at any point today

2025 In Review Looking back at 2025 - Sales figures, new games and what’s in development

for those who find it interesting, I've just written up my review of 2025 as a tiny indie #ttrpg publisher. Sales figures, conventions, games released and in development. Happy to answer any questions!

QRP with your skull art.

ok slightly cheating here because our skull art is actually @matpringle.bsky.social's skull art (again) but you can see the initial sketch we sent him to work from as a brief 🤔🤪

as a bonus you can also have @thisnorthernboy.bsky.social's skeleton astronaut from issue 3 too

American Gothic is a 1930 oil painting on beaverboard by the American Regionalist artist Grant Wood, depicting a Midwestern farmer and his wife or daughter standing in front of their Carpenter Gothic style home. It is one of the most famous American paintings of the 20th century and is frequently referenced in popular culture.

If you look very closely here you might notice that the farmers wife has been replaced by the official 1983 Advanced Dungeons & Dragons toy, The Raging Roper

also I like to think that this was Kim I spotted driving around Bruxelles a couple of years ago (well, him or a completely unbothered Count D who thought, probably correctly, that in the 21st century even calling yourself Alucard was an unnecessarily subtle ruse)

apologies to everyone who has seen me bore on about this a million times before but Newman's tie-in books for Games Workshop's short lived Mad Max-alike big box car toys game Dark Future features, hands down, some of the best alternate-history worldbuilding around.

Vitruvian Man (Italian: L'uomo vitruviano) is a drawing by the Italian Renaissance artist and scientist Leonardo da Vinci, dated to c. 1490. Inspired by the Roman architect Vitruvius, it depicts a nude man in two overlapping standing positions, inscribed within a circle and a square. Art historian Carmen C. Bambach described it as "justly ranked among the all-time iconic images of Western civilization".

The drawing illustrates Leonardo's study of ideal human proportions, derived from Vitruvius but refined through his own observations, contemporary works, and the treatise De pictura by Leon Battista Alberti.

Unfortunately here the perfectly proportional body of da Vinci's man has been replaced with that of the official 1983 Official Dungeons & Dragons toy, The Raging Roper

More people should do fake 1970s covers for Marvel Movie Specials, just for increasingly unlikely films

I want to see a Marvel silver age covers for adaptations of films like The Last Tango in Paris, Midnight Express & Apocalypse Now

A long horrifying moment from clicking play on the band’s music to it starting where I was dreading some awful landfill indie would emerge but thankfully it sounds like various instruments have been tossed into a cement mixer along with a load of bricks & a distortion pedal. so, not too shabby Alan
