We finally have a photo of the previously unseen Zelda 1 art on display at the Nintendo Museum.
The cartouche in the top right, subtitled "THE MAP OF HYRULE," depicts 3 fairy/goddess figures unfolding a cloth (making the world?). Miyamoto's signature is on the bottom right.

Speaking of Virtual Boy, here's a clip from a Video Boy VUE, a tool from Intelligent Systems for showing Virtual Boy games on a TV or monitor. In 2021 I wrote up an article examining the hardware: hcs64.com/video-boy-vue/
Does anyone know why the Pi Pico debug probe might be giving a "JUNK" error?

Does anyone recall if any of the Nintendo leaks had GBA e-Reader tools in them?
(not my photo, but its of the Protractor souvenir you can unlock in-game)
Question: how many degrees off was the WarioWare Twisted gyroscope nearer to its release in 2005? I'm not sure if this is hardware degradation or if its normal?
Well there you go I made a micro post of it lol

The big "VGM Sound Sources" (game soundfont) spreadsheet list sound CDs/synths and has a "wanted CDs" list. But where are the download links (or dat/hash file) for the actual CDs/synth data?
After 6 years working on BlueRetro, the time has come for me to move on and focus on my family and my real job.
Thank you to everyone who contributed, tested, reported issues, or supported the project over the years.
Your involvement made BlueRetro what it is today.
Used for 2005 events too, including ones featuring 2005 pre-final demo of NSMB.
Websites don't just magically appear on the Wayback Machine, someone has to actually archive them. Sometimes that's Internet Archive themselves. Sometimes that's the ArchiveTeam community saving entire websites before they shut down. And they could use your help paying for their big servers :)
Honestly I thought they wouldn't slop-ify Prime 4, since its meant to be a "hardcore" series. I guess Kirby is the only Nintendo franchise that's been left untouched.
Prime 4 basically doesn't have any of the original Prime devs, does it? Did Nintendo not give them the memo that its good to keep your devs around?
Prime 4 might be the first Nintendo game that had a cross-platform release (like Twilight Princess and BOTW) where the version on the newer console is significantly higher fidelity?
Valve should bring back E3 just for Half-Life 3. They shouldn't debase themselves by going on the "Game Awards".
Maybe, maybe not.

Also may need to upgrade CPU from E3-1245 v5, don't know www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=...
I guess I'll try it out with the headset before getting a new GPU. But depending on HL3 requirements I may end up upgrading it anyway. Hopefully I can just rent the VR stuff somehow.
Could be, but I'm not sure it'd be full quality from the youtube videos I've seen.
I guess I'll need to upgrade from my GTX 1650 for Half-Life 3. Hopefully that'll cover Half-Life Alyx as well, although I'd still need the VR setup.
Nintendo's post-Wii output seems to be "by-the-numbers creativity". An evolution of the formula they started with NSMBWii. The devs are required to be as creative as possible, but only within very strict parameters that nullify much of the creativity felt in the final product.
KIRO 7 ran an article and two TV pieces on the theft of a box truck full of arcade PCBs, artwork, and machines from my workplace yesterday. If anyone in the Seattle area sees someone offloading a ton of CPS2/NAOMI/Neo Geo PCBs, stuff of that nature, please reach out.
