His office is not the one with that power, the CHR is.

Do you actually care about this stuff or do you just want to complain?

09.03.2026 20:21 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

The CHR has had the complaint open for the past year! Open means it's either waiting for a response from NYU Langone, investigating the complaint, or mediating it. You can look this up! It's not hard!

Jesus fucking Christ he didn't even break his promise.

Actually come to think of it, if they are in the middle of investigation or mediation, then it makes complete sense why he wouldn't be talking much about it because:
a) It's not his place to do so, as it would be the CHR's
b) It could jeopardize the investigation and the mediation process.

I mean, he could ask them to respond I guess? But the case being open in the NYC CHR for about a year suggests to me that the CHR is currently in the middle of either investigation, mediation, or determination on the case and has already been.

And to be clear, not only did they open new LGBTQ+ youth care clinics, which was promised, they are currently in the process of ensuring that the public hospital system is able to receive displaced patients. You can claim that nothing is happening all you want but it's just not true.

My viewpoint is that the Mayor's office probably would've given resources to the AG if requested, as is pretty normal to happen, or there was nothing the mayor's office could even do to help the AG in this situation.

09.03.2026 18:23 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 2 πŸ“Œ 0

The Commission is appointed by the mayor but it's its own body that has to file complaints and then receive a response from the respondent, in this case it would be NYU Langone, before the case is investigated. After the investigation is when determinations are made.

You need to log off if you're at the point where you're attacking someone for "making excuses" because she's explaining that the world is far more fucking slower and complicated than we want it to be. I'm not taking an ounce of shit from someone intent painting me as someone I'm not.

He literally opened two new LGBTQ+ youth care clinics in Woodhull and Queens at the beginning of his administration.

And you can coordinate and work with another agency or office while still broadly letting them do the work by just providing resources or information that the office may need.

The two main things that are mentioned here are things that I either talked about, the NYC Commission, and the absorption of new patients into the public health system, which the Mamdani administration is already working on doing.

How do you know they didn’t? This stuff doesn’t tend to come out until after all the proper steps are taken.

And I’m sorry, but I’m really struggling to take you seriously when you didn’t even know that he made a statement on the day of the announcement and insisted he didn’t.

State Senator John Hoffman and Yvette Hoffman Endorse Peggy Flanagan for Senate
Longtime Advocates for Children, Families, and Disability Services Backs Flanagan’s People-Powered Campaign

ST. LOUIS PARK, MN [03/09/26] β€” Today, Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan’s campaign for U.S. Senate announced the endorsement of State Senator John Hoffman (34-DFL) and his wife, Yvette Hoffman. It is a powerful show of support from a respected leader who has spent his career advocating for children, families, and Minnesotans with disabilities.

Last year, Senator Hoffman and his wife Yvette survived a horrific assassination attempt in their home during a wave of politically motivated violence that also took the lives of House Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman, her husband Mark, and their dog Gilbert. In the months since, the Hoffmans have continued to demonstrate resilience and commitment to public service in the face of unimaginable hardship.

β€œThese are two leaders in Minnesota who truly embody what it means to be of community, in community, in how they show up and care for their neighbors,” said Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan. β€œSenator Hoffman and I have worked together for a long time on issues of early childhood and making sure that children and families have what they need to be successful. I’m going to take everything that I’ve learned from him and bring it to Washington, D.C., to make sure that children and families have opportunity and that those on the margins and the most vulnerable Minnesotans have a voice in Washington.”

Hoffman represents communities in Anoka and Hennepin Counties, including parts of Brooklyn Park, Champlin, Coon Rapids, Dayton, and Rogers. He has spent his career focused on issues related to disability services, education, and support for families. Before serving in the Minnesota Senate, Hoffman worked with children and families across public, private, and nonprofit sectors, including with the Iowa Department of Human Services and at PACER Center, one of the nation’s most respected Parent Training and Information Centers. Yvette has also dedicated her life to children and families, having spent her career working in elementary education.

β€œI’ve spent my career focused on stabilizing children and families. That’s what matters to Minnesota. I know what real leadership looks like and Peggy Flanagan embodies that. She leads with integrity, compassion, and the desire to do what’s right. This is what we need in Minnesota. This is what we need in our nation,” said Senator John Hoffman. β€œIn moments that test us, leadership matters. Peggy shows that. She listens, she shows up and she delivers. I’m proud to endorse Peggy Flanagan for U.S. Senate. Let’s move Minnesota forward, together.”

β€œAfter everything our family went through last year, Peggy Flanagan showed us the kind of person and leader she truly is. She respected our family’s privacy and supported the space we needed to heal, and that meant the world to us,” said Yvette Hoffman. "Peggy served in the Minnesota House with my sister, Rep. Yvonne Selcer – so our family has known her character and leadership for a long time. She has always led with kindness, compassion, and a deep commitment to people who are too often overlooked. She will be a voice for those who don’t always have one in Washington. Our country needs that kind of leadership now more than ever. That's why I’m proud to support Peggy for the U.S. Senate.”

The big concern is that he’s going to be buried by the tattoo shit by the Collins campaign after the primary and we’ll have her there despite having a great opportunity to oust her.

I’d look into those links because AI does have a penchant for hallucinating stuff based on how you ask questions, but based on what she said, it sounds like it is actually true.
