Agreed, but I am thinking more of the court of public opinion. If it were perceived by voters as a political power grab then they could react the next election.

That said, as a lifelong Democrat leaner, I really want a *robust* multi-party system. The two party one is inherently dangerous.

Continuing the thought, Democrats have the opposite strength and challenge. It truly is a “big tent” party, which makes getting everyone to stand together hard-it’s herding cats.

For some time I have believed that the greatest strength and greatest weakness of an individual or organization is the same quality.

Republican’s “strength” is their unity-they vote together. It’s their weakness that in times like these, they have no real skillset for breaking ranks.

Which sounds ridiculous until one realizes he meant that you had to pay close attention to get the jokes. And having to pay close attention wasn’t all that popular with TV audiences.

Personally I suspect that the issue is more *she* is female and-more importantly-she is so confident and competent in her command presence she knows her orders will be followed without being overtly forceful about it. Threatens the “male warrior…”
