Season 4: Ep 14 – Toy Story Vs Toy Story 2 Vs Toy Story 3 It's the final week and we have a special show for you all! This whole season we've taken original films and pitted them against their sequels. Generally, if there's more than one sequel, the quality will often go downhill. Or at least that was historically the case. The case before the Toy Story movies got on the scene, which is what we'll be discussing this week!

It's the season 4 finale and we have a special episode. We've spent the season comparing movies to their big name follow ups, and this week we're adding the third iteration as Toy Story 1, 2, and 3 all vie for the win! Episode 14 is LIVE!

Season 4: Ep 13 – Scream Vs Scream 2 Do you like scary movies? Cause we certainly do this season. Our second original vs. sequel pairing for horror movies (or third if you count Alien as many do), includes the quintessential 90's horror series: Scream! Steve takes on the responsibility of defending the original Scream that kickd off an entirely new generation of slasher films that lasted more than a decade.

This weeks episode sees two of the biggest horror movies of the 90's goes knife to knife as Scream goes one on one with Scream 2! Which movie is the cut above? Episode 13 is LIVE!

Season 4: Ep 12 – Batman Begins Vs, The Dark Knight In our most recent original vs. sequel pairing, we have a couple of movies that many of you know very well and are part of one of the biggest franchises in history: Batman. This week we take a look at the Christopher Nolan reboot Batman Begins and it's revolutionary sequel The Dark Knight.  Nate gets to defend the start of the reboot series with Batman Begins.

Two movies that redifned the modern era of Super Hero movies go head to head as Batman Begins goes punch for punch with The Dark Knight in this weeks edition of Duel of the Greats! Episode 12 is LIVE!

Respecting the Proccess I’ve learned a lot of things about myself while completing two full rounds of 75 Hard. I’ve learned that I need to respect my body more, and treat it the way it deserves to be treated. I learned that I have a lot of things I need to work with myself both mentally and emotionally. 75 Hard Round 2: COMPLETED When I was a teenager, I walked a lot. I recently calculated that I walked 3 miles every night. Two laps around the neighborhood I grew up. That was a minimum. Some nights it was closer to 6. It was peaceful and quiet. I would shove my Sony Walkman anti skip discman into my pocket with whatever CD I was currently listening to on repeat and just make the rounds.

Yesterday i completed my second round of 75 Hard! It wasn't easy, but it was not as hard i expected. Let's talk about it

Season 4: Ep 11 – Alien Vs. Aliens In space nobody can hear you scream about which movie is better, the original or the sequel. Luckily, we're not in space, we're on a podcast and you get to hear us argue about which is better between the first two films in the Alien franchise: Alien and Aliens.  Jeff will defend the original that started it off with Ridley Scott's Alien (which we discussed in season 1 if you want to go back and do some prep before this episode), and James Cameron's (making his third appearance this season) Aliens.

Court is in sesion and this week the guys debate which Aliens movie burts from the judges chest to be the winner as Alien goes up against Aliens! Episode 11 is LIVE!

75 Hard R2: Week 10 Week 10 is done! Five full days remaining in this round! Let’s talk about it! Season 4: Ep 10 – Hellraiser Vs. Hellraiser 2 We have such sights to show you! Err, tell you. You know what we're trying to say. Or at least you will with this episode as we take on one of the greatest original and sequel runs for a horror movie franchise in history. This week we look at Clive Barker's legendary Hellraiser and compare with Hellbound: Hellraiser II.  As the resident horror nut, Jeff gets to the be the judge as Steve argues for the original Hellraiser and Nate will take the reigns of arguing for Hellbound: Hellraiser II being the superior film.

A loto f fans have put a PIN in this episode since they heard it was coming, so lets raise some HELL as the guys battle it out over Hellraiser and Hellraiser 2! Episode 10 is LIVE!

75 Hard R2: Week 9 Week 9 is in the books, and only one more full week of round 2 left! Lets talk about it. I start week 10 feeling a little defeated. My weight this morning was 300 again. I felt anger and disappointment, but then got filled with some resolve. See, I knew the holidays would be a struggle, but I kept my confidence.

Season 4: Ep 9 – Family Vacation Vs. Christmas Vacation What's that? You want to know what movies we're discussing this week? The Moose our front should have told ya! Cause it's a beaut, Clark! That's right, we're doing one of the best original and sequel comedies in history, National Lampoon's Vacation will go up against National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation!  Nate will get the honor of defending the one that started it all with the documentation of the Griswold family and their cross-country trek to Wally's World in the original Vacation.

We're hitting the road for a vacation this week as National Lampoon's Family Vacation goes one on one with Christmas Vacation! Which movie will come outo n top? Episode 9 is LIVE!

75 Hard R2: Week 8 Week … hold on I forgot what week this is… WEEK 8!!! Week 8 has come and gone, and so has Christmas! How did I fare this week? Lets talks about it. DIET UPDATE No real changes or challenges outside of the abundance of Baked goods in my immediate proximity, whether it was work or home. Had a little cookie overload one day this past week at work but beyond that, no real issues.

Christmas has come and gone and so has week 8 of round 2 of 75 Hard. Let's talk about it!

Season 4: Ep 8 – Home Alone Vs. Home Alone 2 AHHHHH! It's here! Another one of the “gotta have it this season” originals vs sequels comes in the form of Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. One might ask themselves how you could possibly build on the success of a runaway hit like Home Alone? Well, that's what we're here to answer! Jeff will defend the original Home Alone as being better but Steve will argue that Lost in New York is the superior film.

Christmas is this week and no better way to celebrate than to talk about two movies who take joy in delivering abslute mayham for the holidays! Kevin McCalister goes toe to toe with the baddies as Home alone goes head to head with Home Alone 2! Episode 8 is LIVE!

75 Hard R2: Week 6/7 Week 6 has passed.. and so has my time weighing over 300 lbs. Let’s talk about it. (Record Scratch) Wait… This is week 7… Well shit. So I failed in posting this past Saturday. This past weekend was… Heavy? Emotional? Stressful? Yes all those things. The anniversary of my mother’s passing as well as the funeral for one of my aunts that passed away a couple weeks ago overshadowed and took control of my brain.

I missed last weeks blog, and am a day late this week... Let's talk about it!

Season 4: Ep 6 – A New Hope Vs. Empire Strike Back This is the week that we’re sure many of you have been waiting for. When the idea of “original vs. sequel” comes up one of the biggest examples that comes to mind is one of the first to ever enter the conversation: Star Wars: A New Hope vs. Star Wars: The Empire Strikes back. One of the most successful franchises in history and two of the best sci-fi movies will duke it out to see who takes it home this week. 

In a Podcast season far far away, 3 men sit in their basments while their wives take care of their children, and debate the age old question. IS EMPIRE BETTER THAN NEW HOPE?! Episode 6 of Dual is LIVE!

75 Hard R2: Week 5 Week 5 of my second round of 75 Hard is passed. Lets Talk about it. Milestone (Almost) I had mentioned in last weeks blog update that I set a goal of trying to hit under 300lbs before the week was over. My weight fluctuated a lot over the week but as of this morning I am at 300 even. When I saw that number this morning I took a deep breath and nodded to myself.

Week 5 has come and gone and i've (Almost) hit my milestone! Lets talk about it!
