I can understand your frustration but as this is a reserved issue your vote in May won't directly lead to this terrible policy being implemented.
Use the extra cost to invest in public transport and active travel? Less cars on the road will also improve bus travel times.
Lothian busses have just put their prices up by 10% for the second year in a row but of course it's important that motorists never ever pay more tax for polluting our air and making our cities dangerous and congested.
My word that's cheap. I expect there's probably a profitable business in there if they consolidate and focus on their best known beers and the alcohol free range. Not sure how profitable the bars are but they're a horrible customer experience. The need to book tables etc. I just want a pint!
3 logicians walk into a bar.
Barman: Do you all want a beer?
Logician 1: I don't know.
Logician 2: I don't know.
Logician 3: Yes
The barman nods and pours 3 beers.
There's probably no real need to have sex/gender on a driving licence but if you are going to have it then it's correct for it to be clear and accurately recorded.
I'll pick the SNP as that's my preferred party. I don't buy into tactical voting.
Indeed. We've had a Yes majority in parliament continually since indyref 1 without it triggering another vote. I don't see why this time would be any different.
Vote for the party you want. I have grave misgivings about the Greens, in particular their attitude to NATO and women.
One of my earliest footballing memories was watching Airdrie Vs Raith Rovers in the 1994 league cup semi. I still remember the name of Brian Potter!
Irish Independent: Man stole three coffee machines in a week from Monaghan department store.
How does he sleep at night?
A wage!? For doing work!? God forbid
Always about them! The original flag is a classic whereas I just associate the new one with intolerance.
Given the age profile of Reform's supporters I don't fancy their chances.
Thanks for the explanation!
*overt!
Fair play. Sounds like fairly over ageism.
Why can't a dual citizen use ETA if that's what they would prefer to do?
I just don't understand why they've done this. Along with stopping benefits for people going abroad it just seems like an unnecessary own goal.
Yes, this! I stopped going to their Glasgow one after they made it clear they really didn't want people just popping in for a pint. God forbid!
It's much easier to just berate women rather than trying to actually fix any of the problems around housing and childcare that might mean people are starting families later. In fact they want to actually make it harder by ending work from home. Nasty idiots.
It's not a quick fix for the economy but Labour are doing so shit in the polls they might as well just say a Labour majority at the next GE is a clear mandate for undoing Brexit. Surely the polling would increase from where it is now? Time to draw a line under this folly.
He ballsed this one up. Surely he has to resign now?
As a British paper you should probably make it clear in the headline that this is in the USA.
I think personality is much more likely to win back Reform voters than actual policy. It didn't really matter what anti-immigration policies Starmer brought in, he'd never recapture them.
I'd never heard of him until today and I don't know about his politics, but they could probably do worse than Al Carns. A completely clean slate, looks the part and if they want to get their reform voters back having an actual super manly handsome war veteran isn't the worst idea.
Yes, this is triggering for me.
Don't forget Gary Breen!
Oh piss off with the negative scare tactics.
I thought Lard O'Connor had it?
