Birthright citizenship is on the lips and minds of many, given yesterday’s “executive order.” Recommend Martha Jones’s book to those seeking to inform themselves about the context of this concept.
The purpose of yesterday was to frighten us to submitting in advance. I have my freedom of speech and I will use it here and everywhere else I exist online to make my voice heard. No oligarch, no president will silence me. So, be prepared for more Latinx books just as soon as my mourning ends, okay?

Libraries need to reclassify 1984 from fiction to nonfiction.
What I would quite like please is for somebody to write the rest of my book for me. Not in a ghost-writing cheaty way, just in a physically lifting my fingers onto the keyboard and slapping me every time I think about wandering into the kitchen.
