I didn’t hear bleeping. Doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. His message was unity. My bilingual friends said there’s no controversy. I haven’t researched it beyond this thread though.

I am sure it was the non explicit as 45 million people speak Spanish.
Like many artists today- there are explicit versions and non-explicit versions of his songs.
The image is a colorful, illustrated cover for “Hyperlink Slides Choice Board” by Alice Keeler. At the top, the title “CHOICE BOARD” is written in bold black letters, with a yellow icon of a chain link in the center. To the left, there’s a stack of books and a pen, and to the right, a cartoon character of a smiling person holding a pencil and pointing upward with a lit lightbulb above their finger, suggesting an idea. At the bottom left, the Google Slides logo appears with the text “works with Google Slides.”
Turning Google Slides into an interactive choice board is easier with smart hyperlinks. Add-on lets students move smoothly between slides, reset choices, and reuse the same deck for multiple activities by swapping content.

In the process myself. Reading this as I’m taking a break from coding interviews and stupid memos. 😆😟😭

A shout out to my colleague @tomzellerjr.com on the launch of his smart, funny, surprising, entirely readable book about headaches. As @maryroach.bsky.social says, "required reading for anyone with a head."
I'm going to try and communicate with my Republican colleagues in a new way.
I love @marcusluther.bsky.social as a teacher, but I also enjoying reading his writing. This blog gets at the heart of why interrogating the root of our jobs with intentionality is a part of THE JOB.
A little surpriserd to have not seen a single post saying HEY... we're not actually at war with Iran, and only congress can declare war so... how is it we are considering air strikes?
Juneteenth calls us to understand the realities of our past, celebrate the resilience and achievements of Black Americans, and align the course of our country toward its founding creed of liberty and justice for all. Wishing everyone a meaningful Juneteenth!

He took the train as a 29-year-old senator-elect.
He still takes the train as a former president.
No motorcade. No spectacle. Just Joe.
Steady. Humble. Still showing up.

“Trump is using military forces to stop a protest — I want y'all to consider what kind of government it appears to be when every time we exercise our democratic right to protest, the military is deployed against us.”

Science-Backed Studying Techniques If high school students were never taught how to study, they’re going to keep being frustrated by using ineffective studying methods. Here’s how to help change that.
“Many educators assume that at some point, students have been taught how to study effectively,” writes #ScienceTeacher Alison Stone.
But her 20 years of experience teaching high schoolers has taught her that “this is typically not the case.”

And if you care about managing cognitive load, you should also know that recruiting student engagement and interest actually decreases cognitive load and makes learning easier. 😅
This definitely intersects with Bandura’s ideas on self-efficacy. I like the specific research on cognitive load.
Enjoying immensely as well.
Is it? Most schools that I am aware of are AP or the course is through the university but taught at the high school.
The students at my school take courses directly from the college.
Curious- this seems mostly about AP type courses. What about high schoolers taking courses directly through the college/university? Same issues?
