Came back from Hereford with a few apples (all Newton Wonder, a cooking apple). If you have a favourite apple recipe let me know, particularly if it freezes well or uses lots of apples. I've used about 3kgs so far (nearly one of the trays).
It does! I have tea and a cat to keep me company while watching.
I have to keep deciding which one to watch first.
Raspberries and nectarines are my favourites.

It was too cold for the beasties this morning, spoiled house cats that they are. They can cooperate on the split lead when they both really want the same thing (to go back inside).
I am UK based but definitely need to investigate this further for our Pepper. She doesn't bite but effectively kicks, scratches and wriggles out of our grasp. Recent eye drops were a challenge (we sacrifice to the blood god). Her harness has a velcro fastening so that's a plus.

I am in Zakopane for a white Christmas (snow on the ground). It's been snowing all day today and supposed to be bright tomorrow.

At least it only came out yesterday? She tends to post to her Goodreads let people know one is coming. I'm a member of a fan mailing list and someone will pass on the Goodreads link there (and I forgot to mention it here). I guess at her stage of her career she doesn't feel the need?

For hands, I found olive oil soap to be reasonable. I think I had this one which felt nice to use. It was a gift but looks about right.

Mini heat wave around the London area, so I am wearing a new linen dress that mum made me. It has pockets and I am pleased to report they are big enough to hold my Kindle.

A bad decisions train night. No guard on the 1833 bc a late running train. G due 1849 so got on the faster 1850. No guard on 1850 but the 1833 guard arrived and train left. At 1915 I give up on the 1850 and catch the fully crewed 1820. 1850 runs fast to Staines so I'd be home 30 mins earlier. Grump.
