it's funny to think that we pushed a known shippable fsdgfxb,

it's funny to think that we pushed a known shippable fsdgfxb,
we do have a slime trail we still need to fix, but it's stubborn and we dunno how to fix it,
we cut out two other windows in the same area for the same exact problem..,
awww maann we did all that last second fixing for our ftux map and now the deadline's been extended by several days,,..,
I mean it's good for everyone else involved we just had a lot of fretting,.,
hey we got one !
surely this is an oversight ? and hopefully it's an easy fix,
the obvious solution, personally at least, is to just look up their profile on our computer,.! but if you knew our forgetfulness..,
as it turns out, scrolling on profiles starts at the user's posts, not their bio,
and as such, if someone's bio space is too large, you can't scroll through their posts,
and even if you have a sliver of space to activate scrolling, you might still not be able to pull down to refresh,.,
+ aaaand we just made it.
...okay, the submission deadline is like 10am tomorrow, but we can stop thinking about it until it gets torn apart by playtesters?
I actually can't even say "yay", exactly, because I still have the urge to keep making stuff, to just edit and tweak, forever and ever...
+ we've been... awfully busy, the last couple days. ^^;
the first picture was taken in november, when we dropped this map for lack of inspiration (and this dev thread), and the last two are how we've finished it up
to that note we *do* think it'd have been interesting to have one more falcom/misty blue/scheme-ish koshiro soundtrack on the platform though (but also we really don't remember what all's in the stickman is back stuff,)
sakimoto's basically *did not* change between platforms, other than additional, occasional adpcm-b,
koshiro.., is interesting, because revenge of shinobi definitely hits closest to his -88 stuff ? but his experiments with sor & kawashima definitely led away from that, to their own benefits ofc,
and those ideals will always be there, but it feels more like a hurdle, some sort of devaluing factor, even just a slight one, depending on the case that the chip sits in. kind of silly, maybe.
it's all expectations, isn't it? you may expect a genesis game to sound grimy, a bit shrill, characteristically so. a lot of them do, after all.
but pc-98 music... it's always placed a league above, isn't it? it's soft, expertly crafted...
but the fm portions of each chip are exactly the same!
| oh, our no-front wrote this, but I think the idea was...
we had seen a post, mentioning about fm in a recent game that sounds "like the genesis would sound", and we can rather instantly recognize what that means. it's meant fondly, and we embrace that, but at the same time...
using the grodiest, lamest gems driver patches on the opna/pc-98 in non-awesome ways just to prove a point
cultured pick actually.,
ohh, this site's "share" feature simply clips your chat and puts a neat border around it. interesting!

happy #bandcampfriday! i don't have a whole lot of stuff on my bandcamp but there's some good stuff such as:
-a small RPG ost
-an OST for an extremely fucked up VN
...as well as a very large project that I hope to complete soon.
Please take a look!

I know they wanted to do a lot with this area, but we're kinda short on time, so I'm thinking it could be repurposed. that'll have to wait until we have some free time tomorrow, though...
it's good to be back at this map, either way! we really hated shelving it.
I really like how this area looks, too. I wonder which one of us made this part..?
I think the combat's a little stilted, and I can see where the steam died for this one, but I think it can be salvaged in time for the deadline? it's easier than creating yet another new map, at least...
\\ I'm going back to our first btsx-tex map we got any traction on because hey, this map looks really cool? and we really want to submit something for the ftux/forward toward uranus x project.
shawn glass... we might have to steal(/steel) this
I remember we tried one of the less detailed blue marble textures from this set for underwater base windows, and that wasn't so bad either...
I guess we don't know enough to say if they lasted past his snes works, but sakimoto really loved those drums it seemed like, they're in a lot of sfc games with his name on em,
www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gyz5...
listening through some tactics music b/c it's kinda an empty spot in our sakimoto/iwata/matsuo knowledge, and it's neat to hear this percussion set, but also feels kinda like,
'okay fine it's an orchestral soundtrack but you can pull out those drums *once*',

youmu day ?
like, this is gonna give me a headache .
