800th episode: “Irrational Treasure” A cameo by the cast of THE PITT brought this immediately into 2026 and the larger story’s parody of NATIONAL TREASURE undid all of that. Modern episodes feel like Halloween episodes because they are so out there. Voices sounded a little better. AI?

700th episode “Manger Things”: They didn’t want to wait for a Christmas episode to fall in line with the 100th episode so they aired a Christmas episode in March. This aired in 2021. The voices are all kind of horse and old now. Nothing redeeming to mention. Simpsons is like Rasputin.

600th episode “Treehouse of Horror XXVII” I guess sooner or later one of these 100th milestones is gonna land on a Halloween episode. It only took 28 years. This one has two insanely dated parodies and one fun original.

Almost done with rewatching THE OFFICE. I think the Dwight spin off THE FARM could have been good and weird. I think the Dwight character gets more interesting as the seasons go on so making him the lead could have been great. Don’t know about giving him two normal siblings though.
