What about the cases where they seem useful? These seem to fall into a few categories:

1) I need to take a set of notes and turn it into a polished document, and I'm in a position to check that it says what I mean.

Cutting dialysis just to save a couple of dollars is truly toxic behaviour. But let's ask ourselves the question: where did the money that used to be available to keep people alive actually go?

BYD's new 1500kW 'flash charger' is over 3x faster than anything US has Last year, BYD unveiled a 1,000kW charger. Now they're up to 1,500kW. The company plans to install 20,000 stations this year.

Oh, and as an addendum regarding those 1,500kw chargers ... isn't the 'T' design excellent?

It allows for a) the heavy weight of fast-charging cords to be held by the unit itself, and b) means you can easily access your port regardless of which side of the car it is on.
