How is it if you're not really big on the idea of roguelikes? I've been tempted to nab this before, and that's a steal of a price, but...
(You can tell how long it's been since I've dealt with kids, I'm trying to think of anything/everything that might be iffy lol.)
In that case, the scares would probably be fine then, I'd say. Oh, it does show some carnivores eating carcasses though, and while it's not particularly gory, probably worth noting.
I'd hate to tell you wrong on it, so maybe a 'watch it yourself first' kinda thing, just to make sure you'd consider it appropriate for them, I guess?
- technically about the whole thing when mating does come up (one example being during one part about carnivores doing their mating ritual, there's a quip about 'but it's not blood lust they're feeling; just lust'.)
Hmm...hard to say for a kid that young. Depending on what all else they've seen, there are some parts that could be scary maybe. There's also some talk about mating (and one scene of an ankylosaur clambering on top of another one), but it doesn't actually show anything obviously, and speaks very -
I mean, a ton of people getting murdered purely because they were martial artists - and then magically coming back to life - probably WOULD scare a lot of people away from competing, to be fair.
The Dinosaurs - A decent enough documentary going over the rise and fall of the dinosaurs, though nothing really revolutionary here I don't think. Definitely a fun thing to throw on for background viewing though, especially if you're a big dino nerd like me.
First day of Digimon Story: Time Stranger went pretty well I think, definitely some differences from Cyber Sleuth that will take some getting used to though.
Of course I had to pick my boy as my starter (don't know how long it'll be before I get the REAL best boy, Terriermon).

Ended up taking today off so I didn't have to travel in the storm, and kinda glad I did. Power only just now came back on (hopefully stays on) and the wind got strong enough at one point that it ripped off an old screen door (door was already broken, but uh, STILL). Fun.
A part of me always will wonder how things'd have worked in the rest of the franchise if it HAD been Goku and Bulma.
Probably wouldn't have Vegeta sticking around to put up with if nothing else.

I mean...on the one hand, that's an adaptation of (or further stories expanding upon) a game that's long been out, so while they really should just update it to be ended, I feel like that's a different situation.
