We have a minimalist #app for #timetracking and #productivity We use it ourselves all the time, and now (very "timely") found that we need to download all the data into a table. Initially there was no such function (forgot about it π€¦ββοΈ), but now we've added export to CSV! Use it! It's #free. Linksπ
Cool. Is there a difference between 2 and 3 technically? I can't tell by eye π
Went here to write a similar comment π
Having read about the difficulties regarding both issues (focus and RTL) that you foresee, I've been thinking a lot π€ I should also consider this. It seems like it will be quite a headache π₯΄
And for RTL languages, isn't there a forced right align? Or is there something specific in these langs? For example, the shift of the caret when adding a glyph there also goes from right to left? Also interesting (and need), hadn't thought about it π€
Focus with a gamepad seems to be possible only with a button (for example, select) for sequentially changing widgets that are indexed in advance π€ Like the TAB key on desktop. Honestly I don't see other options π But maybe I'm wrong, as one can never tell where engineering thought might lead, heh
Agree, in such things you need several iterations of rethinking architecture, until an understanding of the cleanest approach comes. It's hard and this is time π€
Yeah, I managed to see only one of your recent posts with multiline box, but haven't reached this post. And here you even have a selection, cool! This is almost a gold medal in the gui coding π Keep it up π
Wow, I see you're writing your gui in raylib? Once i wanted to modify raygui for my needs, or even write my own gui in raylib, but I haven't done much yet. The most painful thing is the multiline textbox, heh. Like that you've already done a lot of work π I'll try to follow your news :)
Thank you! You won't believe it, but I was tempted by the idea of ββmaking such models for some dungeon crawler-like RPG. Not isometric, but still RPG. This is also my dream π

Parli italiano? Our game, so far in demo, has an Italian language π Thanks to James Stangle for his hard work on the new localization and attention to details! π The new version is available here:

Finally the demo is done! Now version 2.0.0, because gameplay added many tasks and obstacles. The main thing now it does not cause frustration. A lot of changes, which all described on game page or in this article on Itch π

He connects this with the final formation of style and competence. In gamedev it seems that a similar case π€ So this is a matter of time.
Yes, I agree. When I take the coding of something new, I almost always get depression. By the way, my brother is musician, and listening to other performers, he noticed such a tendency that hit songs mainly appear in 3rd, or even 2nd in order of the album...
But it should definitely increase the chances to expand audience. That's why I believe in your game. Just keep making, keep improving, keep adding β As one musician said, success is a matter of time.
... some well thought out mechs with possibility to "grow" with numbers and achievements, and of course a good commercial look with luster and mesmerizing atmosphere. I'm going through all this now, and I realize that mastering the product is turning out to be the hardest thing π£...
True, but also not true at the same time π cause your game for some number of people has become known, at least you have a prominent position on decentralized platforms mstn and bsky π My game is much less well known, heh. But now I know that any game for a hit needs good marketing, ...
A couple more animations that were originally recorded as GIFs, so not posted. Movement, lighting, parallax.
What do you think of this palette? Do you think it's worth trying to make a game in this style from a commercial POV?

π because he has hands. In concept, it was supposed to be a robot. I initially suggested a version in armor and less flexible, to look more like a robot. But I had to make it closer to the surreal anime with minimal details, so this is the result, heh
This is where we continued search for the look of the main character of Kernel Bug game. Surprised we haven't posted it here yet.

Hey, guys! We've 2 news. One good and one bad.
Good. Updated #tool for removing duplicate #tiles (you know, speeds up #tileset creation). Finally, added sorting, manual and automatic.
Bad. Now there are a couple bugs. But it's quite usable for work. Details here:

2. The second important thing: the touch buttons are now a bit wider and more comfortable. Plus, this width can now be adjusted in the settings too!
Next, all the little things, which you can read about the changes here π
mathgum.itch.io/space-takes-...
1. Most important: added the ability to customize keyboard and gamepad buttons (as much as we could fit into this small resolution). Of course, the default gamepad will most likely offer some wacky buttons, so the gamepad is definitely worth customizing before you start playing.
Updated our #puzzle #platformer. We thought that we would add a lot of things at once to make the game richer and more interesting, but we still decided not to step so wide as not to be torn up, and we delayed the more ambitious update until next time.

Hey, artists, you have drawn a mockup for a #tile #game, and now you want to remove repeated tiles on it to make a #tileset? This tool will help you with that!
