Happy to talk but not going to GDC this year... Been in VR since 2016!
Happy to talk but not going to GDC this year... Been in VR since 2016!
New Patreon post alert!
We're talking about our dream goals for Panoptic II, and inviting you to add your contributions!
Bonus Lore : We called this level "Demo Level" internally so much that when writing this, we forgot we had officially renamed it to "The Quarry" !
One of the highlights of the weekend for me for sure, technical issues and all!
Thanks a lot to @ben.roadtovr.com for the great write-up !!
Best of luck if you try again! There's an old obscure jrpg I'd love to try to run but I'm too afraid of the time it would consume...
The urge to speedrun after each GDQ is strong... :D
Time to see if what we've been working on bears fruit! Please comme assail us with a million questions !
A bit nervous, but super excited that we will finally be able to unveil something new! We have wanted to make a follow-up to Panoptic for a while, and we have some cool ideas we think you are going to like!
And if not, good thing we want to develop it more in the open, so you can tell us!
I love my Razer Naga Pro with the interchangeable side buttons but at work I cannot let go of my vertical mouse (Logitech).
LASER DANCE IS HERE!
Without doubt my favourite VR game in *years* launched today โจ
THE PITCH: Turn your living room into a laser obstacle course
@tovanbo.bsky.social has made the best possible VR game. SO GOOD

So exciting!!! Congrats Thomas on the launch, I cannot waiiiiiit !
"I'm going to write another headline about China, but at what cost?"
Not "very close" anymore! Escape From Mandrillia is out of early access and the staggering amount of work @germanban.bsky.social has poured into it really makes it a special project, one I am so happy to see reach Full Release! Go PC vs. VR games!!
I feel it's also Root's secret sauce (both the board game and it's digital adaptation). Got so many who would never touch an "actual" war game to dive in and enjoy themselves on the back of the style alone.
IDILI is a super promising horror game digging deep into Sardinian folklore to bring to life an immersive environment based on stunning, real locations. Fascinating game! There's an Early Access version, but I was told to be on the lookout for a big update!

@midowstudios.bsky.social has another VR game tailor-made to appeal to me: a card-based, turn-based spell slinging game called Discovery of Magic. The designer is full of cool ideas for the game, and it's one of the best spellcasting systems I have seen in VR! midowstudios.com/discovery-of...
VR games were few and far between this year, but I fell in love with Echoes of Mora from @selkiesinteractive.bsky.social . VR (or flat screen) that's Everybody's Gone to the Rapture meets amazing style and a lovely swimming mechanic! Go see them in hall 10! Or store.steampowered.com/app/3129050/...
As devs, there are many reasons to love Gamescom : opportunities, friends, parties... But above all, I love meeting other passionate developers and listen to them talk about their work, it always reminds me why we do this, and I leave the halls with renewed enthusiasm.
So here, meet a few of them:
This would be really funny! But more seriously, it was great seeing you and the game there was really nice! Even though it still feels mind-boggling to have reached a point where highlighting "games that promote democracy" is even required. But you're doing the good work!
Playing at 3 or 4 unlocks so much deck potential ! You can try crazy builds, and the jump to often 2 clues per location to 3 also rewards investing into some heavy-hitting cards! Highly agreed either way: 2 player is a tighter puzzle, 3+ is just more epic and open!
Just a heads-up, we're planning a small quality of life update later this year! We're working on several projects at the same time, but we want to give Silhouette some love too!
Thank you!!
Persona 4/5 come to mind immediately for sheer kinetic joy of use. Chrono Cross impressed me for its beauty on psx. And FFXIV changing with each extension is epic!
Finished reading Heart: The City Beneath by @rowanrookanddecard.bsky.social (after rewatching the amazing review by @itsquinns.bsky.social ) and rarely have I found a setting so evocative, and gave such an urge to run it as a GM! Kudos!

Had a go of an impromptu session using The Stygian Library yesterday and it was great fun! Looking forward to checking out all of the other stuff we got from y'all yesterday!
Thank you to all the organizers, speakers, panel hosts, volunteers and attendees of @gamestransformed.bsky.social for an incredible event! Now let's take that energy and make some dope shit!
