Ta for inviting Paul and I to craft this blog critically considering the value of human rights to challenge proposed benefits cuts
Ridiculously thrilled and privileged to join @sdruk.bsky.social Smart Data Research UK’s Programme Board. Impressed so far with the emphasis on progress that actually improves social and political conditions through harnessing smart data - thanks for having me @ESRC

And i have this paper out today, building on our work on emotionally demanding research we think about how, pedagogically, we make space to practice vulnerability and why we should www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10....
The idea of sustainability is essential here. I need to stop thinking it’s tough now but I can sustain it for a month, because a month becomes 6… becomes years of unsustainable labour. What is sustainable? Take care fave x
It's disingenuous to conceal how our work and life affect us. Jo and I have a paper coming out soon following up on our @teachinginhe.bsky.social paper about emotion (follow up to 2023), and I just feel it more than ever that our stories belong in learning spaces. Education shouldn't be santised.
New podcast on scholarship and the added value of a career focused on learning and teaching. Thanks for the invitation Eilidh Soussi & Lynn Currie creators.spotify.com/pod/show/lta...

New platform, old question. Why #Strictly do you use lighting that requires you to put out a warning? it’s not inclusive. Use better lighting. Be inclusive

4 years ago we launched Making Rights Real which meant we had our third AGM today - storm Bert moved us online but did not diminish our spirit as we continue to work with communities to name and claim their rights @carolynscottbruce.bsky.social makingrightsreal.org.uk
